Hi mangojuice, congratulations on your progress so far! You mentioned that you have a history of long standing constipation and are taking laxatives.

I would suggest that you consider switching from the laxatives to cleansing enemas while you are fasting. The best and most gentle enemas are the ones using an enema bag with warm salt water a few degrees above body temperature.

I am a firm believer that during a water or juice fast, daily enemas are essential to achieve maximum success.
