R+Lipoic not ALA and its job is to protect your immune cells from the merc not to chelate per say.

But there is one more metal that can screw you up and that is Lead and both IP6 and Se aren't effective.
Luckily you can use 3-4g of the Linus Pauling Vitamin C formulas for this.
