I decreased my prescription by 1 diopeter, along with doing exercises from 'vision for life', and using reading glasses (+2) for reading. I did this for about a
year and then later reduced my prescription again by .5. It worked. I am now a
-4.50 from a -6.00. I believe that what really happens that as a child we are overprescribed and that instills the staircase effect where every year it just
keeps getting worse and worse. I took a lot of imformation from Otis Brown's forum.
