External factors such as stomach will also be addressed while doing this.

I will keep a healthy stomach ph by using Apple Cider Vinegar or Digestive Enzymes. I will breath through my nose, so toxins from my stomach don't effect my lips during this process. I'll also eat alot of fruit, it won't be damaging to the lips and it will be beneficial to the stomach acids. This is all until my lips can "survive" on their own.

i got this from lip picking/biting/licking. They went white when touched with water. They peeled and eventually spread to the whole of my lips. I've had this throughout my younger school years and still now in uni. I know what i'm doing and talking about. The diet part is to prevent and protect my lips from this happening again. If there is another way to reduce keratin production topically rather than Vitamin A please let me know. I obviously have catered this to me. Some people will rely on the body to do it by itself(detoxification) but are still missing vital steps, which i think i covered in this post. Regarding the actually peeling of the skin its due to either/both two things poor sebum production or over production of keratin. The underlying cause you have to figure out for yourself. If i just got Exfoliative Cheilitis or Peeling Lips i would definitely use something Antibacterial/fungal/viral along with Evening Primrose Oil and Zinc to stop the inflammation. I see how steroids help but they are damaging and not addressing the inside problem.

Peeling Lips and Exfoliative Cheilitis are two different things..

Peeling Lips - the skin doesn't grow chronically but peels, my guess is you have a poor sebum production problem which is a hormonal thing. I think this applies to Chuck Turner. Restoring a hormonal balance will take care of this.. hormones control sebum production. If aggravated... it will lead to Exfoliative Cheilitis.

Exfoliative Cheilitis - chronic growing of skin on the lips with inflammation - when the skin continuously piles up and eventually will turn yellow if left on and raw/swelling when no skin present.. its the keratin. I covered what i think should be done for treatment in my list.

You have to find the right combination for you. ASSES YOURSELF. Peace.
