Noppah, fullsun is right. You didn't take enough ES. In a situation like that, when the pain is extreme I would take as much as 2 tablespoons of ES, even more later if necessary. It doesn't always stop the GB attack even then, but in my experience it works 90% of the time to at least make you feel a lot better.
Also the other poster is right, some bowel cleansing will help you a lot, but when you are in the middle of a big attack it is sometimes hard to thing about! It is something you would benefit from doing long term, not just for your liver/GB.
However I have managed to stop quite a few large GB attacks by having a colema (like a very long long high enema).
Taking olive oil and Apple Cider Vinegar, half a cup of each when I have an attack has been helping me too lately. The quantities of OO (Olive-Oil) and lemon juice you took would only make my attack worse if it was me, so maybe you are the same... maybe the very large quantities of oil and ACV help the GB spasm release better than a medium amount.
Also hot peppermint tea with honey helps a bit to relieve the pain or at least calm me down. Sometimes it appears to stimulate the familiar GB gurgling feelings and noises which signify the release of the spasms at least in part.
Hope this helps!
