I work with treating biochemical imbalances which, is the root cause of all addictions. I use nutraceutical grade supplements that you should be able to find easily on the web. Your brother could have testing done that would pinpoint specifically where his imbalances are or, if cost is a factor, I have forms that he could fill out regarding symptoms which will point to particular deficiency or toxicity. After this is done I can make the appropiate recommendations.

Please note that when someone is struggling with an addiction I have at the very most 48hrs to significantly reduce or, eliminate his symptoms of withdrawal. If the addict does not feel a positive affect within that time period then most, but not all, will usually relapse and not stick around long enough to correct the underlying imbalance. I am currently working with someone who is on a valium taper who was suffering from horrible withdrawal symptoms, after taking the reccomended supplements she was able to be functional because her withdrawal symptoms were almost completely eliminated.

I have read other post on cure zone using different methods that seem to be successful. Might be worth checking out.

The protocol that I use is correcting the imbalance, and by doing so eliminating the withdrawal and preventing a relapse.
