Tolkien believed in magic and little people? Where do you people get your information from? Tolkien was the greatest author ever, he created a world of high mythology and peopled it with fantastic creatures of legend- many in humnanoid form. He created them out of his head, he did not believe in them. He was in no way demented or suffering from delusions of any sort and nor was he in any way shape or form an occultist. He was an author! And a christian of very high morals which clearly showed in his writings. Any suggestion that he was anything other than a gentleman and a good christian is just ignorant and insulting in the extreme. The whole idea astounds me.

These baseless attacks on good and great people just stagger me. Here in Australia we call it the tall-poppy syndrome- shooting people down who stand out above the crowds. Somehow doing so makes the smaller person feel bigger. What you are doing here is even worse though by your own standards. Rather than taking the compassionate approach- that your Christ would have done and praying for their souls if you considered them tainted- you revel in your assumptions that they are borne of satan and now keeping him company.

I think you have taken your bible in piecemeal and missed the whole concept of christianity in the process. It is a work of spiritual importance and surely is to be directed inward to the self not outward at others. The only thing Christ ever gave to others except in rare expressions of frustration and rage was love and compassion. You people are as far from Christ-like or christian as can be with your intentions to harm others with your assumptions and false accusations.

Read the bible as it was meant to be used, as a method of self reflection. Find and fight the demons within yourself, you obviously have enough trouble recognising your own as it is. It's only my opinion to be sure but I am convinced the bible was meant for insight into your own soul not to be used as a weapon to attack others with. If that was the case Christ would have been a far different person for christians to be emulating.

Cheers,

Andrew.
