My understanding was that the Chronicles of Narnia was written by a christian who deliberately wrote it to be a fantasy world to teach christian values and particularly to mirror the bible in many ways. I may be wrong but I'd be shocked to find the scholarly and respectable C.S. Lewis was such a non conformist as to base his book on the bible and use it for occult purpose.
