Has anyone else out there had extreme insomnia? I am almost 7 weeks post removal, and STILL can not get to sleep. Most of the other symptoms I have had are on their way out (did I just jinx myself?) however the heartburn and insomnia remain. The heartburn I can deal with, but I need some sleep!!!!! When I went to my last acupuncture appointment, he told me that insomnia is one of the issues that acupuncture wasn't always helpfull with, he said it only works 50% of the time for it. Unisom doesn't work, and my mom gave me an ambien, and that did nothing, either. Has anyone tried melatonin? I haven't had a night where I didn't wake up every 2 hours Scince I was before my mirena was removed.
