sounds like the oil pulling came along for you none too soon. heavy periods are a way for the body to detox. once it gets in the habit of doing that, it just keeps getting worse. the cure is fasting. with the method you chose, the oil pulling will help replace the bloodletting and put you on a more even keel if you are consistant with it.
