I found that swishing was a lot harder than brushing teeth with oil. I use a battery brush with a circular motion and try to scrub everything in my mouth with safflower oil. It seems to make the teeth whiter/cleaner and the gums appear to have improved.

Why can the oil not take the place of toothpaste. Isn't it really abrasion that does the cleaning anyway and not a collection of chemicals?
