Tinnitus is many times age and noise related.  If you have nerve damage from noise - including loud music, it can lead to tinnitus which increases as you age.  I've had my tinnitus for over 50 years but I believe much of mine is noise related.  I was an aircraft riveter before the age of hearing protection; had long exposures to high pitched (where my tinnitus is) jet engine noise; and also close exposure to loud explosions.  So yours may not be related to what's in your body or what you're putting into your body, but other factors plus age.  Mine does tend to get worse after I ingest alcohol.  (I'm a light drinker.  No, I don't drink lites, I drink martinis.)  Aspirin use also is said to bring it on though I've gone several months without aspirin and it didn't slow down.

I've been on MMS for over a month and it has not adversely affected my tinnitus.  It did get significantly worse though when shortly after beginning MMS the ringing about drove me up the wall when I got a sinus infection with a fever.  My doc said that plugged sinuses caused the increased volume and had me use a Neti pot to clear them out.  I've done that on a daily basis ever since to help with chronic sinusitis.  The Neti pot and cleared sinuses have reduced the volume of my tinnitus, but not eliminated it.
