I am not familiar with the iodine detox but know that it's in a different form than I take.  I take iodine in the form of kelp, 225 mcg of iodine in each tablet, 4 to 6 tablets a day.  Am convinced that it has cured my irregular heart beat/palpitations - took it about 3 to 4 months to do so, but there is nothing else that I have done to cure the palpitations and did find some clues that they could be caused by a lack of iodine.  Anyway, I have not discontinued kelp since going on MMS over a month ago and have built up to 15 drops once a day.  Have found no vision problems from MMS.
