Hi there,
I have not had anything to the extent you have, but I have had burning in the throat and burning sensations sometimes in areas of the body. When I had braces on my teeth - which was producing a galvanic response due to having amaglams at the sametime, I used to get burning sensations in the throat frequently and often to the point where I would be coughing with my eyes watering. It felt as though an ember was burning in the back of my mouth.
I get the same thing after entering a dental office, even though I no longer have amalgams. The mercury vapor in the dental office appears to also cause me to not only get ill, but burning sensations start to return.
I have also read that burning sensations in the mouth/throat are related to mercury also. And any other metal in the mouth at the sametime increases the uptake of mercury from amalgams, and increases the toxicity at the sametime.
One thing I have also experienced. When I was given an IV injection of DMPS (to chelate/detox mercury), it moved alot of the bound up mercury into my system. From then on, my body was forced to try and excrete this freed up mercury and often via the skin. So everytime I heated up from bathing or exercise, the mercury would rise up onto my skin and cause rashes. It also caused burning sensations, so my whole body was hot and burning from this and also itching. I would also get welts from it. Sometimes it was so bad, it would cover me literally from head to toe (I would look like a freak).
So it seems that it does indeed create burning anywhere where it's in contact.
Best wishes on the rest of your Amalgam removal! And hope all this goes away for you and you can heal from this condition.
