some just like being in conflict... to be at odds with others... that's the way they have lived their whole life... it becomes a deep-seated habit, an unconscious revenge for the way he's been treated by others... at a young age.

it is indicative of living a saddened life... lonely, bitter... just an angry old man about the past garbage that's been put on him. everyone has something there in their past. it takes a meditative life, to come out of it.
