Hi,
Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry you're going through this, and I don't know that this forum is busy enough where you'll find people with the same situation or not... but I did want to say that the fear that your life may be over, as you put it, is liable to criple you as much as any physical thing you are going through. Going through this is part of your life so it's not over! We each have a path and lessons...
As for the physical ailment, a lot of what I've learned about alternative health gets to a very basic postulate that if you get out of its way, the body can heal itself. Keep reading, learning good habits and work on the spiritual side as well. I wish you success and good health.
