MMS kills organisms that are anaerobic and/or acidic. There are certain bacteria that fit this description, and that are therefor attacked and destroyed by the action of the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ; there are also bacteria which do not fit this description (ie. beneficial intestinal flora) which are not impacted by the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .

These beneficial bacteria are actually positively impacted by the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement - as it cleans out the typical overgrowth of negative microforms in the intestines, the opportunity arises for recolonization by good flora.

If this were not the case, then all those who have taken MMS/sodium chlorite on a long-term basis would invariably get or remain very ill, because they would have no intestinal flora to protect them.
