During my time in litigating I ran into a fellow who was suing in federal court the police for twisting his arm to extract a confession from him.

The word Tort comes from the word torture meaning to twist.

It is standard practice among the police if they dont like you.

Anyway prison is torture and there are 1.8 million of 2.4 million people being tortured there because of the drug laws.
