Thank you for those wise words DQ.
The clergy stated at my fathers funeral, that it was to be a celebration of his life: which indeed it did turn out to be. I was grateful for his contribution.
However, the old saying that it is not the person who has passed on, so much as those who are left behind who suffer the most.
How true that is.
I shall overcome my melancholy in time, I am sure.
