Hi Margie:
After I read Sylvia's book, The Two Marys, the details into the life of Jesus and Mary, his Mother and Mary Magdalene, it became clear that one could not separate them. It's almost as if one can't talk about Jesus without them; in Christianity, Mary is exalted- Virgen Mary. Mary Magdalene went from being a bad girl and then the Church reversed it's standing- (funny they did that).
Sylvia always begins by saying that what she is about to write, should in no way be taken to discredit our Lord in any way, shape or form.
I have read Glenda's work and it is amazing. What I need to know from her work is that Jesus was a master in thought and in practice. It's becomes secondary whether or not he was married. Give you an example- in Conversations, Jesus states-
The last judgment will be a judgment against all judgments.
I can't tell you how much this statement resonated with me- who else could say it in this way and what?- if we (the people) don't stop judging everything and everyone- then...

A dose of skepticism is good because people want to "try" and get to the bottom of things.
It's something else though, when people say demeaning, demoralizing things. Nothing whatsoever to do with skepticim.

Thanks for the question. In this forum it's definitely a rarity.
