Hi Lauray,
the first 3 days or so are usually the worst, but that depends on your levels of toxicity. I remember my first lengthy fast where the first 3 to 5 days were like a living hell: severe headaches, nausea, trembling, foul breath, nasty taste in the mouth, extremely coated tongue, ad infinitum.....
However, shortly thereafter, it was quite a pleasant experience; if you could just hang on for longer than 3 days I am sure you would experience the same, with hunger pangs almost disappearing overnight.
If you do have a bad reaction with detox symptoms then all the more reason to fast for a bit of house-cleaning and healing.
Lets just hope you don't have my experience, but fasting literature was very inspirational for me, especially Paul Braggs book "The Miracle of Fasting".
I only wish that at that time I had had the benefit of this forum, because the second of my two lengthy fasts was virtually in isolation.
