last night i made my famous Moussaka for my boyfriend because after 3 years together, he'd never had it!

it took 2 hours. i didn't taste a THING! not even to see if the sauce was seasoned properly. i took in the smells as a surrogate tasting pleasure and knew just how much salt i needed to add...

well, my BF (who is a chef and frustrated that i haven't eaten with him for the past 14 days...and who knows i won't again until Feb 16) said it was the BEST meal I've ever made for him!

i can't believe i didn't give in. you have no idea how amazing my kitchen smelled last night...
