The unactivated sodium chlorite will still become activated inside the body, both by stomach acids, and other internal acids, and it can also be activated by acidic foods.

Also, another thing which you could consider is doing a small (1 or 2 drops) dose of activated Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , and hiding it in something else (ie. milk for a cat).
