Thought I'd give this a try if you don't mind.

I would say that you were/are experiencing some inner conflicts connected to your personality associated with friends and/or family. You need to resolve these, but not change who you are. Once you resolve these inner conflicts you will be much happier. I would say you desire to resolve these conflicts in a positive manner since you are/need to seek help outside your normal sphere of associations. I would say the key to resolution was in the numbers. That is, diplomacy and vision. There is also the number 5, which entails adventure.

Being happy may be a compensatory dream and is often a dream of the contrary. You may be trying to compensate for the sadness or stress in your waking life.
