Hi Fullsun,
Congratulations on doing the cleanse!
I just had a look at your post. I think your technique is excellent. Do you know about basti? This is an Ayurvedic or yogic enema. There are many different kinds, but they use a technique a bit like yours, where water is drawn into the colon using particular breathing exercises (pranayama). This is said to help tone, massage and correctly position all the organs when done correctly.
If you want an enema which is much better than a colinic irrigation then you should try the colema that Dr Jensen recommends. This is IMO superior to all other varieties, and you can practice your breath exercise with this too. It is done lying down, so you can direct the water to all parts of your large intestine very easily, just like with a colonic irrigation, but better in my opinion as it is not as irritating to the ileocecal valve. You could build your own colema board quite easily, or get someone to make it for you.
Also, regarding the use of carbs in the fast. Dr Jensen's programs does include honey with each of the supplement drinks. You can also have diluted juice. This should give you all the energy you need. I would not take in chocolate as it will slow the cleansing process, but if you need more Sugar then honey or diluted vegetable juice would be better than anything else.
Have you had much mucoid plaque come out during the last week? Congratulations on doing so well. I hope you are feeling great!
Peace
