Sorry to bring you down to earth.
Prednisolon (Prednisone) is a steroid. It is a very very strong medicine. It works very fast. However, you can not stop taking it. You have to gradually taper it down. Once you start tapering, you will start seeing your Ulcerative Colitis symptoms.
I have UC and I am on it since 1995 on and off.
You are at a remission stage. You can not call it cured.
Sorry again but this is the truth.
