A study has shown that those with symptomatic Blasto have a strain with an attribute that is not present with those who are asymptomatic. So, confusion in the medical community as to the seriousness of this may be the result of responses to different strains of Blasto. Further, there are many strains and infection has been shown to migrate not only between humans but between species, as well. B. Ratti (a strain found in rats), for example, is able to be transferred to humans.

"Irregular and polymorphic amoeboid forms with multiple extended pseudopodia were observed in all isolates from symptomatic patients, while none of the isolates from asymptomatic patients showed the presence of the amoeboid forms."

Here's the link to it:

Anyway, after trying extensive "conventional" treatments for "normal" Blasto, I too am facing the three drug cocktail as the possibly only effective alternative. ...would also like to find responses from those who have taken it that are NOT promotional listings on badbugs.com.
