It would seem very simple to do to some before and after chemical tests with the oil to see if any toxins are actually being released. Are there any scientific studies of this sort?

As an aside, this looks very interesting. I had tried this over a year ago with sesame seed oil and I didn't really notice anything, but will try it again and do it several times a day to see if a more accelerated approach makes any effects more noticeable. :-)
