yes I eat the unrefined :) I'm already thin..so I was taking it for its other benefits. but yes good fats help you lose weight. I put it in my oatmeal or even on toast as a sub for butter...it's good!!! I have never tried the capsules I think you would have to take ALOT of capsules to equal 1 tablespoon of vco could get pricy.
