yeah, wouldn't you know that we are out of cornstarch!

i picked up some of the styptic powder last night at the petshop while getting some dog food. i put the powder on the wound (it was still seeping blood) and it agglutinated almost instantly making a hard yellow 'scab' on the claw.

Thanks for the advice.
