It isn't clear to me from your post whether the pupil is constantly contracted/expanded or whether the two pupils start out the same size and only one responds differently to changes in light level.
Pupil size is often a response to leveles of exhaustion in Kidney/Adrenal function, so if you can determine that the disparity is consistently occurring on one side only, that gives you an idea of which side to watch/support.
You might also check into the condition called "Adies' Tonii", where one pupil is more contracted all the time.
Dilated and weakly-responding pupils in general are a sign of weakened Adrenals.
Either way, Kidney cleansing/support herbs should do a lot to assist you:
Fresh flat-leaf Parsley
Cornsilk Tea (Health food store only, the grocery stuff is loaded with pesticides.)
Chamomile tea
Hydrangea root tea
Cleavers tea
