Insured HA.
"Insured" means they're going to try to turn 'em all into wh0!res for "mainstream medicine". Threatened with being "out of the club" if they don't ante up and roll over.
Too bad. It could have been good.
Can't wait to see all the "One weekend from neanderthal to Reiki Master" MDs once they start this up.
I'd love to be wrong about it but- I don't think so.
I thought I should explain my strong response to this so here it is.
I've already seen this happen in one field of alternative health in the USA. Now we who still have our hearts in it all cry about it. Those who extolled the scintillating glories of regulation and alignment with the current day medical profession sang such a beautiful song, and many beautiful, clear eyed and hopeful souls lined right up for it. Turns out they were all put on the firing line once the Piranhas moved in, which happened quite rapidly. In my opinion, only in the inexperienced view could this be a good thing.
I am aware that I may be speaking from the position of comparatively few people.
The field of alternative health unfortunately abounds with practiced Jesus lookalikes and guru wannabes of all descriptions seeking profitable followers.
It is true that this poses a problem to incoming clients who are inexperienced and new to the field. However I have never yet seen the answer be to create a new .gov-based bureaucracy.
In the scenario now being created in the UK, only those with the most money to throw at it will win. The in crowd will put out lots of advertising dollars and have an army of newly-licensed subjects busily casting aspersions and doubt upon any practitioner who isn't making enough money to pay the fees they will require by law now.
In my opinion those with their hearts in the right place will always find a way to spread their Light, no matter what. Such people, in effect, become the creators of the next field that mainstream medicine will try to take over.
Now. If you re-read this post, you will possibly realize that this very same scenario is what originally happened to Medical Doctors in the US.
Did that create a problem?
My two cents.
