I've been following your posts due to suprise that you seem to have the same thing as me. I have had almost the same exact symptoms since July. The terribly confused foggy feelings, some type of thick stringy mucus way up in my nose, a strong allergy reaction feeling at times, a coat on the tongue, thick clear sticky coating on the tongue and in mouth, ears stopped up, hurting, ringing very loudly, hearing loss in one ear, headaches,nightsweats, bad chest pain a few times, and mild chest pain at other times before coughing mucus which just comes up even sometimes with no coughing. I took Bactrim and seemed a little better, but what seemed to help me more was sinus nasal washes, vitamin C, zyrtec, and time. I'm much better, but not totally over it and afraid that it will come back. Molds or mildews make me worse. I've been convinced that I have a fungus type infection or maybe even Valley Fever. Of course I have no health insurance and no tests done to confirm anything. Hope you get better.
