I doubt we would have any shortages if the reason
for fighting was not a pack of lies. We have plenty
of good Americans, young and old who would join up.
As it stands, this administration treats the armed
services they have like sheet. It is a disgrace the
way our military has been abused. Then on top of
that humiliation, this administration awards huge
contracts to private mercenaries who have better
everything but especially armor. Again, a disgrace.
I would likely support the need of a draft if there
needed to be one, BUT the fact that wherever we go,
we are contaminating for a gazillion generations,
the area with depleted uranium munitions, means we
are putting our men and woman in harms way. This is
not acceptable to me. Before long the dust and
contamination will circle the globe.
If this is your idea of fighting terror, then what
is your idea of diplomacy?? There are plenty of
great men, who with hindsight have seen clearly that
the way to peace is not through wars. The way of
profit however is to finance both sides of a war and
to keep 'em coming. This system of relating to each
other will destroy our planet and all the living
beings on it, save perhaps roaches and of course Dick
who will be in his hidey hole.
In the meantime, talking about terrorism, how about
fighting to get the government from spraying us like
we were vermin, or adding chemicals to our food and
our water to drug us. Fight for better schooling and
education standards, and provide ways to generate jobs
which can support the basic needs of living. Fight for
investing in our country's infrastructure. How about
dealing with the coup being exacted by the Mexican
government in collusion with the current administration.
Drugs, money, anything goes...there is no law which
cannot be broken by Mexico it seems. Even their citizens
are given preferential treatment in this country as if
our laws were meaningless...
You wanna fight, fight for our country...not for Israel...
There are also many ways to build character. I would
throw my full support behind organizations like the Peace
Corp which attempt to make a positive difference. War
destroys infrastructures and lives...
