after his murder, the third day Mary returned to prepare the body the boulder had been moved and Jesus had disappeared

He met Mary on the path and she did not recognize his faceetc, but he soke with her and she recognized Him through the conversation.

I believe He showed Himself to another apostle

So he did return way before the books of the New Testament were written It was a demonstration not of a miracle - although it seems to be one in our eyes- I'm
guessing other not so published information was shared with some of His apostles so they could understand the way to experience a conscious death and teach it to the rest of us slower vibrating sisters and brothers
