Our body's wisdom is truly infinite! Thankfully you listened to yours. It's a good reminder to us all.

My mum cured herself of an ulcer on her leg from a white tailed spider (Aussie version of Brown recluse), which she had had for a year and half. Nothing would heal it, including all the allopathic creams and herbal stuff we could think of, until she decided to apply Bentonite clay to it. It was healed in a week to a week and a half, and it never came back!
