I think I would try taking Goldenseal for this. Take two Goldenseal and see if it makes you feel better. If it does, take two per day, 3-6 times per day as needed, along with critical care strenght pro-biotics, preferably the kind that contains bifidus longum.

If the doctor prescribes anti-biotics, I'd take the Goldenseal instead. It is my understanding that anti-biotics suppress symptoms, but Goldenseal attaches/stains them, so the body can get rid of them. I use Goldenseal on any condition that responds to anti-biotics and it always works. BUT you MUST take the PRO-BIOTICS with it, as it will take the good bacteria out along with the bad.
