Compassion. Your description is apt. There are others in more pain than you, and this is an example.

This is where you can show compassion if you have it in you. Be the better self. Do you have it in you?

This is not a sexual conquest. This is not a power play. You were right to feel the way you did in the beginning. As abhorrent as her behavior is, it's rightfully pathetic.

I bet you are still nice to her, the poor thing. I bet you anything you don't even let her know how you feel. I've got your number honey.
