I don't know. Does it matter? Usually when I hear this kind of question it's from someone who's searching for an angle to try to "prove" vegetarianism isn't "natural."

If that is the case, I would answer, is everything you do natural, or do you pick and choose?

If rape and murder is "natural" to humans (there is plenty of evidence that it is), should we do it? If westerners can easily survive without torturing and killing other sentient beings, should we do it?

If that wasn't your angle, nevermind.
