I think the use of hormone creams is useless. I used it for almost 3 years and never got any relief. My GYN since prescribed steriod Clobetasol Propinate and I felt relief almost immediately. Can't say its cleared up or cured, but certainly better results.
Good luck finding a specialist in this field. Please post what you find out.
