I used to work for a dental manufacturing company. root canals are the biggest scam on earth. They are not designed to last more than 10 years. And they can NEVER remove all of the bacteria inside a root canal, so they are just a petri dish in your mouth waiting to cause problems. If this tooth is as bad as you say it is, you should get it yanked ASAP. Seriously, the bacteria in there can be causing you all kinds of problems, including heart disease. I'll have to find the article I read on that to show you.
