Do you have any idea how many products you use everyday use animal byproducts? It's totally respectable if you are a veggie but if you're a veggie because of cruelty to animals, raising livestock to eat is just one of the ways we use animals. How about insects? How about all the creepy crawly things in the world that are killed not even for food but just because they exist and annoy us. Just because cows/pigs/baby chicks can be cute and cuddly, doesn't make them any more indispensable than any more animal if you're against animal cruelty.
