For me it's a matter of trust. I know that the "experts" on these forums are very intelligent, well educated individuals who do loads of research, and I trust their judgment. That doesn't mean that I don't do a lot of research of my own, and do lots of reading before I decide to ingest some substance that I have never heard of before. But most of research ends up being anecdotal. If I see that something has worked for someone with similar problems to me, I will try it."
