You hit it right on the head and I haven't done much more than read your first paragraph.

I have long struggled with great sound bites of holistic healing, faith healers, etc. and too noticed the great disconnect that allowed them to sound all-knowing, superior and self-righteous when not having a connection to medical realities, morality, compassion, etc.

It is the same thing whenever I hear Dr. Phil quip, "I don't care how flat the pancake GETS, there are always two sides." Well, hey, bubba--what about the Holocaust, Darfur, rape victims from total strangers, etc?????

The Pancake Principle, as I call it, just does not apply. It will only serve to further victimize the victim. And we all thrash about when being seen as a VICTIM. Well, hey.................victims, so called, are due certain inalienable rights: truth, justice, compensation, if at all possible. Even remotely. They want SATISFACTION from suffering and anyone who says different has a head made of biscuit. And a heart made of stone.
