I prefer the book to the CD set. The Ask and it Is Given CD set is read by Jerry Hicks rather too quickly. Read the book 100 times! And do as many of the exercises in it. Get your highlighter pens out. The Law of Attraction CD set is very good though.

Start with just one book. You may not need another. That is probably one of their best books, and can be read over so many times, and each time you will pick up something new.

Practise feeling good. All the exercises are about that.

Even before working with Abraham teachings, for many years I had been using Law of Attraction principles (unwittingly) because I was meditating and using a lot of creative visualisation techniques. Some of the things I have attracted into my life deliberately have been profound.

For example my partner, who I have been with for 5 years. He took 2 years to appear (because I didn't understand the art of deliberately choosing my thoughts and allowing then, or he would have appeared much sooner!)

One day, my best friend and I were sitting together and we wrote a list of all the things we individually wanted in a man.

I got very specific, even writing what job this man would have, that he would play a muscial instrument, exactly how he would treat me and the kids, even the type of family he would have ... very specific about every detail.

Then I visualised him and we buried our bits of paper in the garden.

We did this just for fun, and then I totally let it go.

Then 2 years later, I met him at an energy healing training course I was on.

I didn't recognise him as I had totally forgotten that I had created him (ha!). But as we got to know each other and I was telling my friend about this man, she reminded me of our little game 2 years back. And yes, he was EXACTLY as I had created him, down to the job he did and also him being a musician, and all other aspects .. and he was everything I had asked for :-)

Does that sound like magic? Even I was taken by surprise in the power of my creation. And it is perfect for us and I keep focused on all that is good and all that I appreciate.

And my friend, I'm sorry to say she also got what she asked for. She only asked for a sexy man :-( and it seems that he was sexy for way too many women .. and they are now divorced. I am working with her on LOA now.
