its easy to tell the difference. a healing crisis is of short duration and you feel better afterwards than you did before it happened. true poisoning will be of a long duration, increasing in intensity the more you take, and even after you stop taking it or the symptoms subside you feel drained and not nearly as good as before. this is, of course, a general rule of thumb complete with exceptions and cofactors that can work for or against you.
