If you are looking for a link to buy organic grasses and make up a greens mix yourself, then go to
http://www.mountainroseherbs.com
.
You might want to try some organic wheatgrass powder, organic barley grass powder, organic spinach powder and organic alfalfa powder. If you like, you can also add some organic shave grass powder, and some organic couch grass powder; organic lemon grass powder also adds a nice flavor and good nutrition.
Another thing that can be fun to add is organic spearmint and organic peppermint, both available there also.
Just get 1/4 pound of whichever ones you want.
Mix all these up in equal parts (start out with just a 1/4 cup of each ingredient), except the mints or other herbs you want to add. Herbs should be added sparingly ... they have a much more intense flavor and action ... try just like a 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of any herbs, including the mints, and go from there.
Start out with these grasses ... later you can get into more things.
In the future, you can add brocolli powder, Celery powder, carrot powder, kale powder, tomato powder, etc... Although the only organic ones I have been able to find are carrot powder and tomato powder ... the others I have to make myself.
And don't forget veggie smoothies ... you will get more benefit from fresh veggie smoothies due to the enzymes ... the grass/veggie powders are a good way to supplement so that you are getting some all day long.
