And it is always edifying when one has enough information to figure out what one's role in a matter is, often people move behind the scenes in such a way that one could never know

It is a most unhealthy atmosphere...
1. Because you are not able to properly assess why a certain behavior is at play
2. Some would use you less than edified circumstance to toy with you have a little fun, laughing at rather than with
3. And punish or hurt when you take offense at the game at foot
