You have no logic. So.... let me get this straight. Trying to save a woman from the pain of having an abortion, possibly maiming her body, or even dying is controlling her body? The chances of permanently maiming your body or dying from repeated abortions dramatically increases with each abortion. This is never told the public and yet this does not bother you. You would let someone you love take this chance? Now, assuming that abortions were used as everyday birth control and sometimes it is, wouldn't it be much easier, more convenient, and less painful for the woman to use some form of contraception during sex? Seems logical to me.
In my life, I have met one person that used abortion as every day contraception without a care in the world. The rest have gone through emotional trauma, before, about, and after the abortion. And interestingly enough Mr. Rockybird, I found a common denominator among a large number of girls/women when traumatizing over whether to have an abortion in that the boyfriend did not want the baby and were pressuring them into this decision. Did you say, "control?" The girls afraid of losing their boyfriends, finally did have the abortion. This is unfair and horrific pressure to put on another human being. I now venture to say that the trauma was not about losing their boyfriends, but about losing love, or perceived love. This is the saddest of all.
We are not forcing anybody to breed. Intelligent human beings should make intelligent decisions. And the methods are widely available.
You, however, have a very aloof view of the entire issue without a thought as to that unborn child. You call me "holier than thou" yet I wonder exactly who I am speaking with.
Blessings,
Luella
