Hi Megabite, I believe the food transits the stomach in less than 2 hours normally. However the transit time through the bowels and rectum can vary widely. The healthier you are the quicker the transit times. Usually meats take longer and vegetables take a shorter time. I usually try to keep the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement in the middle of a two hour break from eating. I too am a snacker with seeds and nuts so stomach is never really empty. MW
